Warranty

At Homestyle, we believe a kitchen should be built to last a lifetime. Our products are designed and constructed to standards that far exceed industry norms, using materials and components selected for their durability and long-term performance. You can expect a Homestyle kitchen to serve you for decades, and our warranty coverage reflects that confidence.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing by a director of the Company, the following warranty terms shall apply to all kitchen products supplied by the Company to the Customer.

Coverage Periods

The Company warrants mechanical hardware components, including hinges, drawer runners, and soft-close mechanisms, for a period of twenty-five years from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship under normal domestic use.

The Company warrants all cabinet carcasses, including base units, wall units, and structural shelving, for a period of fifteen years from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship under normal domestic use.

The Company warrants all visible furniture components, including but not limited to door fronts, drawer fronts, decorative panels, plinths, cornices, pelmet rails, and handles, for a period of five years from the date of purchase. This covers issues such as delamination, warping, or finish deterioration under normal domestic conditions.

The Company warrants all bifold and pocket door systems, including tracking mechanisms and associated hardware, for a period of five years from the date of purchase when used under normal domestic conditions.

Where the Company supplies appliances or accessories that carry a separate manufacturer's warranty, the Company's own warranty on those items is limited to twelve months from the date of purchase.

Installation

The Company does not provide installation services. Any warranty or liability relating to the fitting or assembly of products is a matter solely between the Customer and their chosen installer. The Company accepts no responsibility for defects or damage arising from improper installation.

Exclusions

This warranty does not cover defects, damage, or deterioration caused by accidental damage, misuse, neglect, improper cleaning, unauthorised modification or repair, exposure to excessive moisture or heat, or any use inconsistent with normal domestic purpose. Normal wear and tear is also excluded.

This warranty applies exclusively to products supplied for use within domestic residential properties. Products supplied for commercial premises or properties used primarily for business purposes are excluded unless separately agreed in writing with a director of the Company.

Claims and Liability

In the event of a valid warranty claim, the Company will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the affected component. The Company shall not be liable for any consequential loss, indirect loss, loss of profit, or any costs arising from or connected to a defective product, including but not limited to the cost of removal, reinstallation, or any associated building or decorating works. All warranty claims are assessed by the Company's management, whose decision is final.

This warranty is provided to the Customer as identified on the original invoice and is not transferable to any subsequent owner or occupier of the property.
